About the desk name plate generator

The prism desk name plate is a classic in offices, clinics, events and classrooms. The name is tilted, easy to read from across the desk, and the back can show other text (a job title, the event name, "back soon").

The generator computes the angle of the faces and places the raised text exactly on the slope, in another color. The part prints lying on its base, without supports.

FAQ

Does it need supports?

No. The plate prints on its base and the raised letters sit on the slanted faces.

Can I change the angle?

The height changes the slope: taller plates stand more upright.

Is it free?

Yes. The maker and the editor are free and run in your browser. Without an account, the project is kept for 48 hours; with a free account, it is kept in your account.

Which format do I download?

3MF (recommended: keeps colors and opens directly in Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer and Creality Print), STL or OBJ, always in millimeters.
