About the electronics enclosure generator

Every electronics project needs a case, and off-the-shelf ones rarely have holes in the right place. Pick your board and the generator puts standoffs at its mounting holes, opens cutouts for the connectors (USB, power, HDMI, Ethernet) and makes a snap-on lid with ventilation slots.

For other boards, use custom mode: enter the width and depth and the standoffs go in the corners. The inner height is the clearance above the board for components and wires.

What you can adjust

Ready boards

Arduino Uno, Raspberry Pi 4, ESP32 DevKit and Raspberry Pi Pico.

Standoffs

At the board's mounting holes, with screw holes.

Connector cutouts

USB, power, HDMI, Ethernet and audio, depending on the board.

Vented lid

Snap-in lip, with ventilation slots.

Custom

Any board: width, depth and standoffs in the corners.

FAQ

Are the board dimensions right?

They are the official dimensions of the Arduino Uno, Raspberry Pi 4, ESP32 DevKit (30-pin) and Pico. Clone boards can vary by 1 mm: check yours first.

What if my board is not listed?

Choose "custom" and enter the width and depth. Standoffs are placed 3.5 mm from the corners; you can move them in the editor.

The ESP32 has no holes. How is it held?

The case has two support rails under the long edges. Secure it with double-sided tape or a dab of hot glue.

Is it free?

Yes. The maker and the editor are free and run in your browser. Without an account, the project is kept for 48 hours; with a free account, it is kept in your account.

Which format do I download?

3MF (recommended: keeps colors and opens directly in Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer and Creality Print), STL or OBJ, always in millimeters.
