Generate a hinge that comes off the printer already assembled and moving, with a built-in pin, adjustable clearance and countersunk holes. Choose size and knuckles. Free.
A print-in-place hinge comes off the printer already assembled: the pin is printed inside the knuckles with a small clearance, and both leaves turn without any assembly. Use it for boxes, lids, small doors, models and cosplay.
The generator alternates the knuckles between the two leaves, builds the pin into one of them and leaves clearance around it. Adjust the length, leaf width, number of knuckles, clearance and screw holes.
The pin is printed inside the knuckles.
0.2 to 0.8 mm (use the clearance test).
3 to 11 (odd number).
Up to 4 per leaf, for M3 or M4.
The clearance was too small for your printer. Increase it by 0.1 to 0.2 mm, or check whether the first layer is squished.
It holds light doors (boxes, small cabinets). For large doors, use several hinges.
